Week of January 15-21, 2017

Reminders:

Love Kitchen cooking postponed until next week.

Men’s Breakfast, Cornerstone Cornwall, Saturday, January 14th, 8:00 am

*****************

Shift-workers of Cornerstone,

If you’re like my wife and me, you are finding that the inconsistency of your schedule is pulling you away from regularly attending Sunday services or small groups. To solve that problem, we want to see if it’s possible to start a new small group that fits your schedule. That would mean our meeting times and places could change from week to week, but will hopefully do so in a way that minimizes the number of people who can’t attend.

What I’d like from you is an indication of your interest and a copy of your work schedule (sent to davidbrandon110@gmail.com ). If you know every shift you work from now until May, then you can send that. If not, just send me the shifts you have. From there, I’ll see what we can do. There is no guarantees that this will work out, but who will know until we try?
Regards,
David Brandon

Did you move in 2016? If so, please forward your new information to Pam by email: pam@cornerstonebaptist.ca – Thanks!

We’d like to thank our teens who babysat during our Alpha Program. Parents who benefited from this were asked to consider making a donation to the youth group in support of their upcoming missions trip. If you’d like to contribute, please mark “Youth Group – Babysitting Alpha” on your giving envelope. Thanks!

It’s not too late to get 2017 Offering Envelopes! Envelopes make the job for tellers much easier. Please contact Donna Younker, our Treasurer if you would like envelopes for your giving (donnayounker@hotmail.com).

Volunteers needed for Bibles for Missions Thrift Store We would love to have you join our team. There are different jobs available, and if you would like a tour to see if this is something you would like to do, please call Marg (902)894-4236.
