The Ghiz’s would welcome anyone interested in helping the ministry specifically with Arabic speakers in PEI: sharing skills, time visiting and building relationships, etc. They host a monthly meeting for prayer, in connection with other networks across Canada. The Ghiz’s resource local churches, and also continue to serve at a global level with many other ministries in Lebanon and beyond.

Working with women in correctional centres, as well as when they get out, to break the cycle of addiction and crime. There are ongoing needs for their clothing room, the backpack program of personal hygiene products, balls of yarn, and for daily “History Makers” intercessory pray-ers.

Intentionally sharing the heart of the Father, and cultivating a street level link with the community of faith on Prince Edward Island. Harvest House Ministries PEI intends to provide a faith based, addictions recovery program, helping men and women with a holistic approach, integrating life skills, work ethics, education, and spiritual well being. Volunteers are needed to make it available more often. Their one fundraiser is the “Coldest Night of the Year” which you can participate in or support in February.

Many opportunities to volunteer, including people to shovel the steps in winter, answer the door or phone, meet with clients, hold a baby, provide snacks, laundry and housekeeping for the Baby Boutique, etc. Ongoing need: diapers and formula, maternity clothes, baby furniture. Special need for kids this time of year: socks, underwear, mittens.
