“Love Your Neighbour…”

Along with “love God” Jesus said that “love your neighbour as yourself” makes up the two greatest commandments ever written in the Bible. Being “good neighbours” takes all kinds of forms, here are a few of the things we do together at Cornerstone.

Newcomers to Canada

Cornerstone seeks to be a welcoming place for everyone and strives to help meet the unique needs of newcomers to Canada arriving in Charlottetown. For more information please contact Pastor Gordon Dickinson.

Soup Kitchen

Through the Soup Kitchen of the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry, Cornerstone continues the commitment to provide a meal for guests of the Soup Kitchen every month, usually on the third Saturday of the month. Average attendance has been approximately 82 people. The church provides the balance of the menu from the congregation’s own generous donations of food items.

Nursing Homes

Cornerstone provides church services on Thursday afternoons for three months of the year. Currently we do these services at Andrews Lodge on the Malpeque Road, Prince Edward Home on Maypoint Road, and Garden Home on North River Road.
