English Conversation Group – volunteers needed Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 at First Baptist Charlottetown. We’ll have a volunteer orientation at First Baptist on Tuesday September 6, 6:30-7:30 and our first night will be the next week. Drive needed to Stratford site – A high school boy from China is looking for a ride to church each week. He will be staying on Southampton Drive. If you would be able to give him a ride each week or occasionally, please contact Gordon pastorgordon@cornerstonebaptist.ca or 902-940-6158.

Moms book club will be running on Thursday at 10AM from October 6 until December 8 at the Cornwall church location. The first session will be following Andy Stanley’s program on right now media called Parental Guidance Required. Please sign up in the lobby by September 22nd so we have time to order the books! Childcare will be available and expecting moms are welcome to join! Since the book club will offer childcare, we are looking for some volunteers to help out Thursday’s from 945ish-1130. If this is something you can help out with – even if it is just for a few weeks, please sign up in the lobby!

Cornerstone Student Ministries Open House and Kick Off!! Students Gr 7-12, bring your families and drop by sometime between 7:30 and 9 pm on Sept 9th to meet the leaders and other students and their families!
The kickoff is for students ONLY and is happening on Sept 16 from 7:30-10pm! See you there for a crazy fun time!!

The Unashamed Concert will now be taking place at the Confederation Centre (featuring “We The Rescued”) is scheduled for September 8th, 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Rain location is Calvary Church.

Race against the tide in our first annual Red Sea Run in support of our Camp Seggie Camper Sponsorship Fund! Few have ever been to St.Peters Island, and fewer still there and back before the tide comes in! Choose your own adventure; to the Island and back for a 5k race, or all the way around the Island for a 10k challenge, and for the little racers there will even be a 300M Sandbar Dash! Bring the whole family for free activities like Archery Tag, Rock Climbing, and a Giant Foam Pit! There will also be a BBQ by donation after the race! So sign up today and come join the fun at Camp Seggie! Date: September 10th, 2016. Registration Time and Place: 10:00am registration opens and Race will start 10:30am at Camp Seggie (72 South Point Lane, Rice Point PEI.) Fee: $40 or Free if $75 is raised for Camp Seggie Camper Sponsorship Fund.
